Match history: Rafael Nadal wins and achieves his 19th title in major tournaments!

Spain's Rafael Nadal won the US Open title at dawn on Monday (September 9th), beating Russian Daniel Medvedev in the third longest final in the history of the tournament, which lasted 4 hours and 50 minutes.

Nadal, who won his fourth title in the tournament, received congratulations from some prominent names on social media.

"This boy is from another planet," wrote Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea on his own Twitter account.

Argentine Juan Martin del Potro wrote, "What a match, an unforgettable fight, congratulations to Rafa."

"Congratulations to Rafael Nadal, a great victory for your 19th Grand Slam title, the fourth at the US Open and the second this year after the French Open, keep going, my friend," he said.

"A legend without limits, congratulations on your great victory," Real Madrid wrote. "Real Madrid is proud of your honorary membership in the club."

American tennis legend Billy Jane King tweeted, "A game of the ages, an incredible final for the US Open, congratulations to Nadal."

Gymnastics legend Nadia Comanche wrote a "stunning final."
